Butelka wody w Gambii / Water in Gambia

Wodę piliśmy tylko butelkowaną fabrycznie zamkniętą była ona dostępna w butelkach 0,5 i 1,5 lita w marketach położonych w strefie turystycznej lub w małych przydrożnych budkach (jak to miało miejsce np. w Kotu).

W takich lokalnych budkach woda kosztowała 100 dalasi za 6 butelek 1,5 litrowych czyli jedna butelka była gratis.

Zwykle cena za jedną  butelkę 1.5 l wynosiła 25 dalasi.

Wodę można było także kupić w naszym hotelowym sklepiku (Hotel Sunset Beach) również w cenie 25 dalasi za 1.5 litra.

Dało się zauważyć, że rdzenni mieszkańcy pija wodę z foliowych woreczków o pojemności 0,25 l, . Woreczki z wodą są mocno zmrożone tak, że pijąca osoba ciepłem swoich rąk ogrzewa woreczek a lód powoli się rozpuszcza dając zawsze zimna wodę. Takie puste woreczki leża potem wzdłuż drogi i naokoło posesji mieszkańców. Jest to typowy widok poza tzw. strefa turystyczną. 

Napoje 

Robinsons Lemon NoAddedSugar

            Fajnym dodatkiem do wody jest skoncentrowany sok cytrynowy, który kupiliśmy w markecie w Bakau  - Robinsons Lemon No Added Sugar  - cena 85 dalasi.
Występuje on w różnych smakach ale zdecydowanie cytrynowy był naszym faworytem. Nic nie gasiło tak cudownie pragnienia jak zimna woda z lodówki z dodatkiem soku cytrynowego też wcześniej schłodzonego. 

Jak dla nas rewelacja !!!

Nawet jeśli woda miała temperaturę otoczenia to i tak zdecydowanie z dodatkiem tego soku była smaczniejsza.

Plusem Robinsons Lemon jest również jego wydajność wystarczy odrobinka by woda w smaku była przyjemniejsza dodatkowo nie zawiera cukru i świetnie gasi pragnienie.

Znaleźliśmy też inne zastosowanie dla niego jest świetnym dodatkiem do drinków my wykorzystaliśmy go do prostego klasycznego drinka tj. gin, tonik cytryna lub/i  właśnie Robinsons Lemon. Naprawdę polecamy !!!

Uwaga. Ceny podawane są dla okresu od 8 do 22 listopada 2013 roku to jest przed tzw. pełnym sezonem turystycznym. Już pod koniec listopada można było zauważyć, że ceny powoli rosną na wybrane produkty i usługi.

Water in Gambia
