Dotarliśmy tu pieszo z Hotelu Sunset Beach naszym przewodnikiem był jeden z pracowników hotelu, który w tym dniu miał wolne i postanowił nam pokazać dobrą restaurację.
Spacerek zajął nam około 40 min przy okazji mogliśmy przyjrzeć się bliżej tej części Kotu gdzie rzadko bywają turyści. Po drodze widzieliśmy jednego z najstarszych baobabów w tej okolicy. Akurat była pora powrotu dzieciaków ze szkoły i było ich pełno na drodze. Ubrane w biało granatowe mundurki wędrowały grupkami do domów. Każde miało w dłoniach woreczek ze zmrożoną wodą.
W końcu dotarliśmy prawdopodobnie byliśmy tu pierwszymi polakami ale nie jedynymi cudzoziemcami.
Lokalik w środku malutki na zewnątrz miał zadaszone patio pod, którym znajdowały się stoliki.
Czas oczekiwania na zamówione jedzenie umiliło nam duże piwko podane w kuflu. Co jakiś czas dolatywały do nas bardzo miłe zapachy z kuchni po około godzinie podano nam potrawy. Było warto czekać wszystko było świeżo przygotowane i bardzo smaczne. Prawdziwy smak Gambii.

Zakupiliśmy też porcję bananów i tzw. małpich owoców od kobiety z dzieckiem, która sprzedawała je wraz z orzeszki ziemnymi z wielkiej tacy noszonej na głowie.
Do hotelu wróciliśmy żółtą taksówką. Była to nasza pierwsza podróż tym środkiem lokomocji kosztowała 100 dalasi. Prawdopodobnie przepłaciliśmy raczej na pewno ale co tam to był nasz pierwszy dzień w Gambii.

We arrived here on foot from the Hotel Sunset Beach our guide was one of the hotel staff , who on this day was free and decided to show us a good restaurant .A short walk took us about 40 minutes the way we look closely at this part of Kotu where tourists rarely . Along the way we saw one of the oldest baobab trees in this area . Just was time to return kids from school and it was full of them on the road. Dressed in white and navy blue uniforms roamed in groups to their homes. Each had in his hands a bag of frozen water.In the end we got there we were probably the first Poles but not the only foreigners .Bar in the middle of a tiny on the outside was covered patio in which there were tables .Time to wait for the ordered food umiliło us the big beer mug given in . From time to time came the letter very nice smells from the kitchen after about an hour we were served food. It was worth the wait everything was freshly prepared and very tasty. A true taste of the Gambia .

We bought a batch of bananas and so. monkey fruit from a woman with a child , who sold them with peanuts earth with such great worn on the head.The hotel came back a yellow taxi. It was our first trip in the means of transportation cost 100 dalasi . Probably overpaid rather sure but whatever it was our first day in the Gambia .
