1 Man 4 Drums - to znany zespół grający tradycyjną muzykę gambijską.

Zespół gra tradycyjną muzykę gambijską. Jego cechą rozpoznawczą jest mężczyzna grający na czterech bębnach  stąd  nazwa zespołu – Jeden mężczyzna z czterema bębnami – 1 Man 4 Drums.

Podobno jest dość popularny w Gambii - o czym powiedział nam jeden z naszych gambijskich znajomych Talu.  Zespół był pokazywany w telewizji gambijskiej. Pewnie dlatego jak tylko pojawił się na plaży w Kotu przy John Raymond Beach Bar & Restaurant oprócz dużej liczby turystów, którzy pojawili się by go posłuchać zgromadził także rdzennych mieszkańców. Kobiety,  które na co dzień sprzedają soki i owoce na plaży porzuciły na chwilę swoje zajęcie by tańczyć w rytm bębnów co znacznie urozmaiciło występ a każda z nich chciała pokazać się z najlepszej strony.

The band plays traditional music Gambian. Its distinctive feature is a man playing the four drums hence the name of the band - One man with four drums - 1 Man 4 Drums.

Apparently it is quite popular in the Gambia - as he told us one of our Gambian friends Talu. The team was shown on television Gambian. Probably because as soon as we arrived on the beach in Kotu at John Raymond Beach Bar & Restaurant in addition to a large number of tourists who came to listen to him gathered the indigenous people. Women, who normally sell juices and fruits on the beach for a moment abandoned their chores to dance to the beat of drums, which greatly enriched the performance and each of them wanted to show their best side.
